This tattoo design is a full color drawing which pays homage to Edward Teach (also Thatch aka Blackbeard). He was an early 1700's pirate sometimes given credit for initiating the Revolutionary War. The drawing depicts a bearded skull wearing a a semi cocked hat (tricorn) on top of a bandanna. There are two crossed pistols smoking in front of him. There is fire coming from his eyes and ties with smoke drifting off from them in his beard. A ribbon reads "Most People Never Learn...But A Very Few Teach".
