A Hermes (Mercury) symbol with the date of the stonewall riots. The Hermes symbol is commonly associated with Hermaphroditism (the having of both genitals). Though hermaphrodites were not included in the original rights movement they are now and can still look at this time with pride. The Stonewall Riots in June of 1969 are considered by many to be the beginning of the LGBTQ rights movement in the USA.
