This tattoo design is a full color drawing of a decorative piece that could be confused with a mandala, due to current usage of the term. It is simply four almond shapes in the center surrounded by a series of petals and leaves. It has cooler colors toward the center and warmer colors toward the edges, then some muted green leaves around those petals.
